5. Assigning Categories & Tags to Posts #
When creating or editing a blog post:
- In the Post Settings panel, select one or more categories.
- Add relevant tags by selecting existing ones or creating new ones on the spot.
- Save or publish your post — the assigned categories and tags will automatically appear on your blog.
6. Best Practices for Categories & Tags #
- Use 5–8 main categories to keep your blog structure clean.
- Add specific tags for better searchability but avoid over-tagging (3–5 per post is ideal).
- Use SEO-friendly names for categories and tags to improve visibility on search engines.
- Keep your naming consistent to avoid duplicate or overlapping tags.
7. Benefits of Using Categories & Tags #
- Better Navigation → Helps readers find relevant articles easily.
